by looking at the label? is it the black line if the label is black, with the word BOSS, and Hugo Boss in smaller print below? what would the label look like if it is the selection line?

Thanks.

The selection line label sounds exactly like that one, but with the word SELECTION along the bottom of the label.

The labels of all Boss lines are different, so it's quite easy.
All "black label" are usually Boss in big letter and Hugo boss underneath in smaller, just like you said.
"Hugo", the younger, more fashion forward line is labelled "Hugo" in big letters, on a red backround.
"Boss Selection", Boss's premium line (that is much less "premium" than the nice, Caruso made Baldessarini stuff that was sold to Ahlers fashion group a few years ago) will have the word "Selection" in small letters written on the label that looks similar to boss "Black Label" label.

I see, speed was faster with pics than I with words.
Though Baldessarini is wrong there as it's no a part of Boss/the holding comapany owning Boss.
Orange is some crazy pseudo fashion forward rip off **** with H&M quality and green is the sportswear.
I like the Boss Selection shirts quite a lot, although I own only 2 or 3, nice collar shapes and a relatively decent construction.
