Do you get the same wax residue as shell cordovan shoes?
How badly do they crease?

They wear very well, better than other leathers. No creasing or bending.

Ditto. Have one from Alden, usually have to wear when traveling, so it gets rolled-up and stuffed in my luggage. No creases or marks.

E doesn't seem to have them on their website anymore from what I see, and I've checked pediwear, Plal, and shoesnorthampton looking for C&J cordovan belts and am only coming up with calf, suede and scotch grain. Please enlighten me as to where one might acquire these belts!

That said, I'm going to guess the Aldens will be cheaper than the C&J's, and Alden's shell belts are apparently very good. Mostly wondering if the BB cordovan belts are good as well or not.

Around your waist, in general. Belt loops option but recommended.

I vaguely remember something about them being made by Fullum & Holt. Don't quote me on that though.

On their website they do list Brooks Brothers as a client, so I'm going to say this is probably true. They're in Canada, which matches the "made in Canada" on the BB website. Now, to figure out if they're better or worse than Alden's cordovan belts... thinking it may be a tossup.

Probably going to get that whiskey cord belt though!

not true. like all leathers, IF YOU WEAR THEM FREQUENTLY ENOUGH, they will crease AND bend.

BTW, Brooks Brothers have the best deal for shell belts, when on sale.

I don't wear my shoes or belts so it's not a problem for me.
