It could just be my local Mens Wearhouse that has these. Nothing that would indicate its a national thing now. They only have a few.

There's a Hickey Freeman outlet about an hour from where I live. Suits are $800 or so, with occasional discounts bringing them to about $400-500. I never paid them that much attention since I'm full of suits at the moment, but they do have staples, LP fabric, and a good variety.

And they're mainline, mostly Madison. They have Burberry suits too.

Let me confirm the rumors:

I just went to MW in Fairfax, VA and picked up a charcoal HF Madison (mainline) /LP 130's for $600 (using a coupon I got from renting a tux for my buddy's wedding).

This one says "Madison" on the Unite! tag and is fully canvassed. Almost as nice as my mainline OTR Zegna, although more conservative/less waist suppression due to the single vent, and the fabric's not quite as fine.

The guy at MW said it was the first HF stuff they'd ever gotten. It really stood out next to the crap Perry Ellis/Pronto Uomo crap they sell!

If it says "Madison" then it's the mainline. Also, $600 is a decent price, though I have seen so many for $450 that $600 appears expensive to me.

Wow, $450? They're really liquidating that inventory, huh? Makes me worry about the future of all things sartorial...
