This is probably the nicest piece of clothing I have ever touched, let alone owned. And, sadly, it is just a little too long for me in the sleeves, which are functional. And I'd rather sell this than run the risk of taking the sleeves up by the shoulder and ruining them in the process. My loss is your gain.
For sale is a 100% cashmere grey blazer from La Vera Sartoria Napoletana. Size 48 EU/38 US with a 3-roll-2 configuration, double vents, working cuffs, spalla camicia shoulders, barchetta breast pocket, and every other prototypical Neapolitan feature your heart could dream of. It's cashmere, and lined, so it wears warm, but it is so light and soft that its comfortable even in warm temperatures. Additional features include very fine pick stitching and a ticket pocket. The flapped hip pockets have just a slight upward angle–subtle enough that I'd hesitate to call them hacking pockets.
The pictures simply do not do this jacket justice. In addition to those of the jacket on its own, I took a few with it on to try to demonstrate how three-dimensional it is, how exquisite the roll of the lapel, how the shoulders don't raise or move away from the collar a single centimeter with my arms raised. I don't mean to overstate it, but this jacket is gorgeous.
Measurements:
P2P: 20"
Shoulders: 18"
BOC: 29.5"
Sleeves: 25"
Waist: 19"
A note on the sleeves: They have working cuffs, but there is about 0.5" to let out. Alternatively, you could take them up about an inch before it started to look weird; the first button is just under two inches away from the edge of the sleeve.
$649 $625 $599 including CONUS. Shipping available elsewhere at cost.
