I went by the Ghurka sample sale this morning and bought this flask as a gift for a friend. It occurred to me that others may be interested. The price would be $45 shipped. It looks similar to this, but the leather (labeled Chestnut) is darker, more of a milk chocolate brown. Also, there is a cap keeper (bar) on the left side. The flask is stainless steel, 6 oz, and made in Spain. Also, the msrp on the one I bought says $125. Sorry guys, all gone.

This fenomenal product is a mass marketing at it's "best". Every retailer in US at some point produced exactly the same flask in a different color and with different logo on it. Available at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and other fine retailers.

Next thing : BIC lighters wrapped in leather and adorned with logos of you favorite brands.

edmorel, I think the answer to that is pretty obvious.

It's nice leather. The brand marking is tasteful and not ostentatious. It's 6 oz rather than 4.5 or 5. I couldn't care less if other brands have made them. It's nicer than a lot of the ones I've seen.

I believe it is not a sales thread, but an offer to assist other members of the forum who unable to purchase it themselves. Thus I felt it is perfectly fine to express my detestation of these mass-exclusivity products.

So you're saying you'll take two?

Does it leak? My, very similar, Fossil leather-wrapped flask is fine except that when it is more than 45 degrees from the vertical, there is leakage.

I would doubt it leaks. The cap screws down and it has a rubber ring inside the top of the cap.

The cap is attached to the flask right? I assume that's what you mean by (hinged) cap keeper bar.
