Publicly, yes. There was that thing with the private photos, which ended up on the 'net, but I don't want to talk about that.

If you look at these shoes (or, especially, my Lobb Paris shoes), you can't see any gap at all between the upper and the waist. The sole looks like it must have been glued on. Yet it was stitched, by hand. You wonder how that needle (or boar's bristle) got through. You also can't see the welt at all. It's hard to do, but done well, it is extremely beautiful.

I love how everyone -- me included -- gets most excited about the part of the shoes that is most like to make contact with dog **** sooner or later.

A couple of questions???
1-What size are they?

2-Do you work in Manhatrtan?

3-Do you have a body guard?

Those are very nice shoes...Good luck..Put them in a bag and take them into your office and wear them inside..Call it the breaking-in period..

You are going to Paris wearing this pair of shoes?

About time you post pics of your collection! Great looking pair. Kid suede even sounds soft and comfortable.

My "collection" pales in comparison to yours, dude.

Yes, kid is great. You would love it, TR.

Look, it's really too painful to talk about, and, anyway, a simple Google search will reveal the answer.

Those look amazing... I feel so lame for only getting MTO.

I honestly would hang those on a wall; I don't know if I could bring myself to ever wearing something like that. I guess that's the downside to getting fantastic shoes that could double as artwork.

You should only wear those on carpets and rugs.

It varies. These are long. My big toe ends well before the end of the toe cap. It's the one disagreement I still have with Tony. He likes to make his lasts as narrow as possible, and with some extra length that accentuates the shape. I like the narrowness, but I think the length highlights the largeness of my feet. These shoes are shorter than my last pair, but perhaps still a mite long. Not that I'm complaining, of course ...
