Experience of Polo Mansion Alterations?

Hi all,

A while back I picked up a PL tuxedo for my wedding, as the date draws near, I think it is time to get that baby altered. After Christmas, I was lucky enough to pick up a 3 piece Polo IV, which needs some waist suppression. I live in New York and figured I might as well take them to the Mansion. I called and they said side seam work is $25, cuffs $15, and $80 to put in button holes. Does anyone have any experience with the quality of their work?

Thanks!

I'm going to assume they will do a fine job and will be sure to report back. One question hat has been racking my brain is whether or not to have the tailor finish out the basted sleeves of the PL tux with working buttonholes, thoughts?

They do an OK job. I've had them to sides, length, sleeves and everything was OK. They make the sleeves longer than I'd prefer so watch out for that.

Others here think that'd prob be an OK price to pay for working button holes and maybe it is. If the sleeve is done, I know a place that makes the holes for $1 per hole (slightly more for a suit). But if you want to save yourself the headache just get it all done in one place and be done with it.
