Boy's band reduced to doing gay Appreciation for the money, I think. Except for the Earnest Sewns, I saw nothing I really, really liked in that spread.

As for the cuffs thing, I generally don't wear shirts with French cuffs casually anyway, and on the odd occasion that I have, I'll fold up the sleeves. Without links seems affected, with links seems a little uptight.

I actually looked at the picture last night, and boy, I was wrong.  That is the Fillmore XX, the Selvedge rigid denim straightleg.  Nice jean - a little light for selvedge though, imo.

It's a pretty difficult model to come by, but not more expensive than the others. Have you tried goclothing.com or revolveclothing.com yet?

is there a difference between fillmore.xx and filson.xx? I have found these. filson.xx As the Filson style is not mentioned on the es website I am guessing perhaps Filson is an old style and Fillmore is the replacement for this season?

The pair in the picture is the Filson straight-leg in the rigid selvedge denim (the XX). The Fillmore is an AG jean. EDIT: Totally my bad. According to the ES Web site, the Filson is now the Fillmore. To be honest, right now the Earnest Sewn inventory confuses me: there's the Hutch bootcut, the Filson/Fillmore straight-leg, the Hemingway full, the Rollins full straight, the Walken military pocket ...

Brian, I think the guy in the middle looks like an offspring of some 80s new wave bands like duran-duran... And what's the deal with those guys who wear their jeans so low on the hips, it actually looks like their torso is just about the same size as their legs. luc

all of the guys have their jeans that low. his torso just looks long cause his shirt is tucked in.

Personally, I like my jeans worn nearly that low. In a recent interview with Jean Touitou (A.P.C.) he said that French men have a tendency to wear their jeans too high, which is one of the reasons he lowered the rise of the A.P.C. Standard jean, so that French guys couldn't wear them that high even if they wanted to. Not to cast aspersions on anyone, of course...

Get the Filson (use a coupon code). Yes, it appears that the Fillmore is the new name for their straight leg jean. From what little I've seen, the Fillmore's are slightly looser in the leg than the Filson.
