Sure.

The Sartorialist has a couple pictures (fairly recently too, I think) of some gentlemen wearing the duffel with a suit.

I hate to be one of those guys but, post pics and we'll know for sure.

Really though you should be OK. That should be enough confidence to wear it well.

I have one. I sometimes wear it with a suit. I like it. Now, there is something a bit more "casual" about it.

When I was a young lad at Avon, we all did this given the location of the school in CT part of the freezing Northeast. I haven't seen many people do this since now that I'm in the Midwest. I think it is okay for boys or young men, old people who do this deserve to be slapped.

It's fine. It is a bit of a "younger" and more casual look, so maybe best for the under 35 crowd and not in the evening.
