That's a shoulder divot. I'm not a tailor, but I believe it comes from the angle that the arm hole is cut at. In practice it's not something that can be easily fixed on a jacket. Try sizing up, but also be aware that a larger size might be an issue in other areas (like the chest) it's possible that the maker just doesn't have a good cut for you.

As for your question is it normal? Normal is relative. On rare occasions when people are seen wearing suits today, they usually don't fit very well. So shoulder davits are pretty normal, but they indicate that your suit doesn't fit very well.

If the jacket fits as close as the small portion we see of your pants, it is too tight. Try sizingn up.

Hmm i can post a full photo ofc, butto be hones i have more than enough space where the button is a fist and some fits in there losely even, i have thoughs about bringing it in at the waist tbh.

Might be some other wird reason cuz i guess my body is not reallyaverage i guess because i tried all the suit making companies in my city and 100miles around to find something that fits.
They would have extreme gape on the lapels always super long sleves+jacket and they all limit my movement (armhole is too low i think or tight) soo yeah. I had it for an occasionand had no time for mtm.
Already bought it but thinking about fitting it with a tailor.
