I would definitely second the after the basics portion. Get your wardrobe staples in first and then get the fun stuff like different colored shirts, ties, etc.If you're 25, play carefully. Both extremes--graphic t-shirts and ultra-conservative attire--may not suit you well at this age.
I work in a financial district and see young men around your age decked out in whatever Brooks Brothers sales persons sold to the inspiring SVPs of finance and their ilk. Honestly, sometimes it looks a bit comical. You're at the age were playfulness is still allowed, so add some color to your outfits after your cover the basics.
