She's mostly right, depending on how fast it passes through your system meat will turn into an ineffective or poisonous pile of rot in very little time. Think of taking a piece of cooked meat and sticking it in a warm container for a few days, that's what you get. Most people don't realize this mucus substance sticks to your belly and overtime builds up while the toxins leech into the rest of your body. If you eat lots of fiber it's not such a bad thing because it will flush out but without that meat and cheese equals a very highly acidic body prone to disease.
Not to mention that the specific enzymes needed to break down animal proteins are the same enzymes that are needed to break down the protein coatings on cancer cells, which are then exposed to blood cells that can destroy them. These enzymes are created in very limited amounts by the pancreas. So too much meat and cheese means a higher risk of cancer, throw in the amount of carcinogens in a grilled piece of meat and you have the perfect recipe for disaster. Pun intended.
Derp!
