CT Black Label Shirts

Just curious if anyone has seen the new Charles Tyrwhitt Black Label line of shirts. I can't tell much from the site but they are listed at $99 right now. I always liked my CT slimfits for basic work shirts when I get them at a steep discount. This new line appears to be slimfit with a different style collar. Any thoughts?

To me, they just look like the slimfit 140s, with a different collar.

Yeah, very tough to tell from the pics on the site, I would have to see these in the store. Although, at $99 I doubt I would buy one.

The fabric info on those shirts is either not posted or hidden in one of the dark corners of their site, which leads me to think that they are using the 'regular' 100s cloth and hoping to up-market it with "oooooh, Black Label" marketing.

Is it just me, or did their shoes take a quantum-leap upwards in price??

It seems like everything on their site took a leap in price. They appear to have elevated the regular price of everything and added the 50 percent off to make it look like a better deal.

The pricing on the US web site does not appear to reflect the current exchange rate. The UK site shows 4 shirts for £100, the US site 4 shirts for $199.

I just bought a white one, and a white twill sea island - I buy the sea island anyway.., but interested to know what they mean by a collar that you can wear with or without a shirt. Black Label shipping from 03/03/09, so will report back
