I just noticed a few days ago that STP has a bunch of new Corneliani suits that all look really nice. I ordered the black pinstripe suit from them and I really like it and I wouldn't mind picking up some more Cornelianis, but I was wondering how long it takes them to mark them down more than they are already marked down. I know last time the suits started at about $800 and then eventually went down to $400 (though obviously with a more limited supply), but I was wondering if any knows how long they are up for before they mark them down again.

Crap, I hope this doesn't turn into another Vass thread about people revealing their sources.

Does Corenliani really make their suit trousers unhemmed to only 36" long?? That leaves me exactly zero inches for cuffing or hemming. According to STP, Isaia does this too. It's irrelevant for this batch at STP, since they don't have 50L, but I find this really, _really_ annoying, if true.

That black suit looks great. If I hadn't just bought a black Brioni I would jump on it. Even have it in lots of sizes.

(trying to incite a riot! Actually I do like black suits and did just buy a black Brioni) It simply proves I don't follow rules, I guess.

I own the black suit that is in question and what's so interesting about this suit is color. Black is not so obvious. It almost look a real deep midnight blue. Some black and white pinstripe suits are real tacky, but this suit is real deal.

Can't speak to Corneliani's suit trousers, but I recently picked up a pair of Corneliani odd trousers. The unfinished hems were 38" long.

Yeah, I think this is much more common. If STP gets any 50L Corneliani suits in a color/style I like, I think I'll call them and ask about trouser length. I just can't believe they're only 36" long.
