Hello all-

I am looking for some slimmer fit corduroy in light-to-medium weight. I live in NYC and am looking for some Forum recommendations on either brands and/or pants makers. Looking to spend less than 400 if they are custom and less than 300 RTW.

Thanks in advance.

Corbin makes some nice RTW narrow wale cords at about half the price you mention.

I have always thought that Lands End is good value for the price - they usually have both narrow and wide wale cords.

Cheers, Jim.

Michael, the price of corduroy fabric can be problematic

Numerous forum members have recommended heavier weight corduroy....15oz and up

Most of the reputable cloth makers, Doremeuil, Scabal and Holland & Sherry...just to name a few charge $100 to $150 per yard

Coupled with the cost of bespoke tailoring...you are likely looking at more than $400

But there are other brands that cost less...but make sure its heavier weight stuff so it can last
