agree with Medwed. terrible looking interior but nice pieces...

Carpets are just hated nowadays, it works as a time capsule and it makes sense to keep a landmark that way.

The PK61 is rather popular hereabouts. New ones are twice your budget, but maybe they can be had used for a reasonable sum?

PK tables are sexpots.

My favorite coffee table of his is actually the 63 with a soaped marble top.

Thanks for the recommendations. I had a change of heart over the weekend and think I will go with the Saarinen coffee table in carrara marble. I think adding an ovular shape to the room will be more interesting than another rectangle.

I only kinda sorta like the chair from the Nendo/ Peg series. Everything else, I feel is rather unremarkable.
