I also like how he kept saying that Bob Saget raped and killed a girl in 1990.

I saw That Ain't Right in person, it was still mediocre but funnier than it was on HBO.

that was pretty funny. I dunno, I usually think he uses his voice as a gimmick, but that time the jokes were so good you barely noticed it.

Brian Posehn: Jodie Sweetin's in the crowd. Remember her? Yeah. I can't point her out, but she's the "Full House" girl that isn't a crazy Christian or a ****** on a stick.
Jeff Garlin: The other day-- after all these years, I've never met the Olsen twins. He introduced me to them. I hadn't seen them since they were kids. I never met them. I said to him, "How do I tell them apart?" He says, "Ashley swallows."
Classic.

I believe he started out on TV with "Make Me Laugh" (along with Howie Mandel, Gary Shandling). One of his usual routine is reading "news" while a typewriter is slung over his shoulder.

Norm MacDonald got his jokes from a site.

http://halife.com/speakers/roast.html

"He has the grace of a swan, the wisdom of an owl ... the eye of an eagle... Ladies and gentlemen, this man is for the birds!"

"He may be a vegetarian but he's still full of baloney."

"He's always been a swinger. Instead of an umbilical cord, he was born with a bungee cord."

You guys really think that he couldn't have written "her ****** is so dry" or "Bob Saget is such a bad comedian" jokes? They're always going for the cheap laugh on these roasts. Going for the cheap laugh works when a comedian deliberately does it at a certain time in his set. A whole hour of this doesn't have the same effect.

I'm not saying that Norm MacDonald is the best comedian ever but he's good. At least he had the balls to pull an Andy Kaufman on national television. And the fact that he got a paycheck for it makes me feel fuzzy inside.

Exaclty. Norm's bit was heavily ironic "anti-comedy" in the tradition of Andy Kaufman's "foreign guy" routines. He makes you feel uncomfortable for him standing up there in front of a live audience blandly and badly reciting bad jokes from note cards. The routine itself is the joke.

Reminds me of Neil Hamburger, the world's worst comic.
