I'm not going to reproduce the whole thread from avs, but it appears a company named Opus Arte is going to be producing HD discs of classical and opera performances (they've been recording in HD for 6 years). The company was also recently purchased by The Royal Opera House so it looks likely that we'll be getting lots of opera soon. Their first HD release is Swan Lake. This is reassuring considering Andrew's post in the Met HD thread that it would probably take a long time for such projects to see the light of day.
