I own two 12 ply cashmere sweaters: one, is from www.customshirt1.com, the company owned by Alexander Kabazz referenced earlier in this post, the other is an older Dunmore St. George that I bought on eBay. My Scot and Charters from Kabazz is my favorite piece of clothing by far. It is the softest thing you can imagine and fits like a glove. I bought one originally as a gift for my wife and just fell in love with it. I wear it every day in the winter on our back porch. My second was just a lucky eBay purchase, an oatmeal colored cardigan with a smaller shawl collar than the Scot and Charter, but made in the old style, with a carefully constructed placket for the buttons. Call Alex at custom shirt and talk with him about his sweaters. It is worth it.

Bump.

Any other companies make quality shawl collar cardigans?
It was a 10% Cashmere 90% merino blend, but John Smedley sold the Dover Cardigan and it was pretty sweet. I own 3. I think you can get them still on a Farley country attire.com. Also, the John Smedley Sherwood model is still there I think, it's the same blend but has no pockets

I could be wrong, but I believe @gdl203 is getting some from Scott & Charters this fall. I own one that was rebranded for another label and really like it. It's lambswool, which is hardwearing, but also fairly soft.

I have been in touch with Berk. Their version is made by Lockie.
Moving from shawls to v-neck--- are Berk's from Lockie, and is the "bare finish" unique to them or otherwise what you'd find from a Lockie dealer or stock service?

My Lockie labeled knits are bare finished.
