May need a tailcoat for an event in about a month and a half. I am good for black tie, but I only have a cheap tailcoat I've worn for costume. Is there any way to pick up a white tie rig fairly inexpensively? Like $500-$750? There is a beautiful Kilgour tailcoat on eBay for $700ish, but the sleeves are a little short and it doesn't have trousers. It is even hard to look on eBay because of the profuse amount of crap. Were this regular black tie, Ede & Ravenscroft has a decent line of fairly inexpensive wear, but not for white tie.Any makers I can search for on eBay to make it easier to look -- I don't even know who makes white tie rigs?

You could talk to rental shops. They often sell their riggs after they have been used 3-5 times.

I my home town there are a few lodges (freemasonry etc.) they often have deals with shops/tailors with cheaper riggs.

There are quite a few white tie rigs (frack in Swedish) on the Swedish buy and sell-site tradera.se
There is also the Swedish brand Cavaliere that sell new ones but they are EXTREMELY overpriced in my opinion. If you want me to proxy stuff let me know.
