I got these today at a thrift store for $12.00. Practically new. I'm afraid I'll have to describe, as I don't currently have the ability to post photos. Black leather (appears to be corrected grain), 2 pairs of eyelets. BANANA REPUBLIC printed on innersole; 10 1/2 D, Leather Upper, Made in Italy. BANANA REPUBLIC, Vero Cuoio (real leather), LAV. ARTISIANA (artisan made), 10 1/2 embossed on leather portion of sole. Rubber heel and ball. Can anyone give me an idea of build quality or what their reputation is? I'm not expecting much; they were bought pretty much as beaters for the winter, but they seem fairly well constructed. Couldn't find anything about them on the Internet or SF. Thanks.

Well, BR is owned by the Gap and they've always provided great quality with their Gap and Old Navy line of clothing. So I'd imagine BR would be even better!
