In 1981 I bought a cardigan which I have loved continuously, and increasingly, from the day it first came home. Unfortunately, 25 years later it is showing its age: The collar is detaching and, unaccountably, it seems to cover less of my trunk. I would like to find someone who can look at it, duplicate a pattern and knit me a clone (well, a bit bigger....) Does anyone know people/firms in the US who do this kind of work? Google searches turns up people who can customize one of a few predesigned patterns, or are located far, far away.
