Well I'm smaller than you (5'2&quot and I have found a number of brands that sell XS which fits me fine, mind you by 'fits me fine' I mean 'fits me fine after shortening and possibly taking in the chest a bit'. The shoulders is where you really want to see whether it fits, the rest can be to some degree altered (though keep in mind it does cost).

Mall brands that fit me are:
French connection
Armani Exchange
American Apparel
Kenji Urban
G-Star Raw (TINY, though a bit obnoxious)
Lacoste (kids and slim fit mens)
Nudies

Also don't be afraid to buy simple basics in womens such as t-shirts and singlets, I buy much more in womens but you gotta be super duper careful that you pick up on the feminen aspects of certain clothing, I found this out the hard way. But as I said, simple t-shirts and singlets in women's are a safe bet.

Furthermore, I suggest not buying off the internet, I find the variations in XS sizing are great and this makes it risky business, only one in five or so XS's will fit me properly.
