That's a very nice suit. Chalk stripes are just so bold.....I can't imagine wearing a full chalk stripe suit in an office...On a date, sure. A work-related activity (out of the office), why not? However, it just screams "I'M STRIPED" too loudly for me to wear it in the office.

Are you American? The chalk stripe is a classic English business suit.

Why is he wearing the same tie with another shirt ? I mean in the first picture the shirt is blue, in the second is white .

Firstly: He's British, we don't match are ties to our bloody shirts. In fact we don't match our ties period. Thatz for tehz gheys and teh Eye-tal-i-ans, innit

In this TV show, Dance, is playing an academic, the tie he is wearing is the college tie. It's not uncommon for some British men, especially the older ones to wear the same tie ad infinitum, especially if he's been in the forces and it's his regimental tie.
