to me, this is an EXCELLENT value in a suit. this meets the fox-approved definition of new with tags:

pants unhemmed

sleeves unfinished, which means buttons are bagged and you can have functional sleeve buttonholes added if you like

classic style, no gaudy colors-- navy with single color stripe

lapels are not overly narrow NOR wide. perfect.

well made? of course, it's oxxford!

3 days left, you can prob get it for about 650 i would imagine.

Would you all consider it professional enough? It looks like a tone on tone stripe but I don't know what it looks like in real life. I could do with a new conservative suit.

I've seen this suit and while I am not a fan of of the tone on tone stripes. the suit is very nice and definitely what I would consider a conservative suit. Obviously a solid navy would be the most conservative of all, but this suit would work in any professional business environment.

Edit: If you can get into a 46R instead of a 46L, this is what is known as a "home run"

I saw that one. Pretty incredible. Unfortunately at 6'4" that just isn't happening.

From what I understand there's no difference in quality of construction.

That's what I've read as well. They're just different models.

Jeez though, the seller has some other nice pieces in my size as well... I think I know where my tax refund is going now.

Oxxford's quality is consistent across the board, but I really don't care for the Crest stuff at all. the shoulders are too big/ padded, the shirts and ties don't look very good to me, etc. i don't even look at those when i browse the net, stores, etc. for discounts.

In my opinion, the gibbons is the most timeless model they make-- and my new favorite is the radcliff. when you can find it, the crittenden is really great as well, very classic.
