I've always had an interest in fashion and I am finally reaching the point where I can afford some higher quality items that will reflect how I want to look. This is my first post so I want to thank everyone in advance.

After researching Style Forum I decided to look for a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenue shoes. I found this pair up for auction, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140317376290.

The photographs suggest the shoes are in excellent condition. Given a pair of these shoes retail for over $300.00, can anyone suggest what a fair used auction price is? My guess is around $150.00; however, any suggestions are appreciated.

I'd check on the B&S forum. There are always plenty of AE's on there. And you don't have to worry about the price going crazy in the last minute of the auction.

$100-150 seems to be what I saw when I bought mine. Mine came out to be $116 shipped from eBay. Be sure you find your right size! I'm glad I tried these on in person because even online people giving fit advice is not always correct. I went to a store that sells these, tried them on, then later bought them online.

I agree. The PA is a narrow last. Try the shoe on for the size that fits you best first. I have a narrow foot and the PA at my regular size is still too tight.

Thank you for the responses. I'll keep everything in mind and keep my bid under $150.00. I tried Park Avenues on before and found them to be comfortable, so hopefully things will work out. I'll also keep any eye on the B&S Forum. I appreciate the help.

I just got ordered a barely used pair of Black Park Avenues for $129 including shipping from Ebay on Tue and got them in today. Mine need a polish, but for around that price the ones you showed looked nice. Just make sure that is a current picture.
