Inspired by Brian's thread, I am also selling my Plaza last boots. Gorgeous boots, and no excuse to sell other than these are simply not to my taste. These boots have been worn about 5-6 times (with each wearing lasting about 4-5 hours). Included with this auction will be a pair of new-in-the-box, never used Woodlore Epic shoe trees. They fit the Alden boots perfectly. The boots will also ship in the original Alden box w/ Alden shoe bags. $475 shipped

Don't worry about that Brian.

If anything it increases the awareness of Leathersoul and their great special editions.

Don't feel bad Tom.

First of all, Brian sells everything he buys

Personally I have to order and experience things before I know if I'm going to like them or not. It's not the quality or the styling of the boots...they're just not "me".

Also, my clothing and shoe budget has recently become a bit strained so I have to cut my wardrobe down to the bare essentials.

And the bare essentials in my world are Desmond Merrion odd jackets and Vass shoes

Judging from your screen name you'd REALLY have a good time checking out my chrome metal Telecaster that I bought from ex Man or Astroman member Hayden about eight years ago.

C'mon Distinctive,
Those boots would look great with overalls and a baseball cap.

Hey, if we can wear them here in Waikiki, you can wear them in the South!

You're right, maybe deep down inside I just wanted some reasons to buy a pair.

1) how do these fit? (in terms of park avenues perhaps)
2) how does cordovan weather against rain and snow? i understand occassional waxing will help, but are these winter boots?

I think these run slightly large from what I've heard. I can't give an accurate report on this b/c I knowingly ordered these a half size too big as I planned to wear them in the winter with thick socks.

Cordovan is very good at resisting moisture. Many people use cordovan shoes when it rains and snows due to this fact.

Also, waxing is not essential for cordovan care. All you really need to do is keep them clean, brushed and buffed.
