Hello, I was in a tech shop for the past few years and went from wearing tailored suits to jeans and tshirts. My new job has a business casual atmosphere and since business casual has wide a range, I would say that my shop leans towards the higher end, more formal business casual. My shirts are from Geneva in NYC and my suits are from WW Chan. I have a pair of Allen Edmonds shoes in burgundy but will probably be looking to buy more shoes for variance once I get a better idea of pants I'll be wearing.
i'd rather not churn my suit pants during the week at the risk of wearing them out so I'm looking for decent casual or even suit pants on their own. I've never shopped for casual pants so I'm hoping you guys can help direct me to some local places in NYC I can check out. My height is 6'0, about 185 on a good day, waist is 33-34" and inseam is 31". I'm quite picky with my clothes so having a good fit is extremely important to me. I have a great alterations tailor but it would be nice if I can keep modifications to a minimum if it can be helped. So far in my research here I've heard Epaulet might be worth checking out. Price isn't the prime factor although I would think if they cost more than $350 then I may just get my tailor to do up a bunch.
Thanks!
