I realized that I had those shoes - same color way, everthing, in the 80s. They look like deadstock to me. I remember those shoes because they were my first brand name sneakers. On sale, pretty much the only pair my mom would buy me. I'm searching in vain for a catalogue from between 1986-1989. They will be in there, I'm pretty sure, or a remake (which happens as well.)

They would be a tennis shoe, with the tennis sole. That's all I can remember for now.

The fact that they collabed with Peter Saville last year makes my heart tingle a bit.

I've been trying to track down a pair of those Peter Saville Y3 Honja high-tops for a while, but it seems whenever I find them they're either not in my size, out of my price range, or both.

I believe you're right. The sneakers got the yellowing on the outsole and it also got those old school grooves.

They look like Gazelles to me, but I might be completely wrong.
The upper sorta looks like Gazelles, but the Gazelle is a low profile shoe, and that one is pretty chunky. Of course, that chick is ridiculously skinny (I'd guess that she doesn't top a buck ten, and that's only if she is really tall. Probably more like 100-105 lbs. So anything with any bulk is going to look big on her.

Anybody know if there is/was/will be a monochrome white version of the Stan Smith since they've been re-released? I've seen monochrome black as well as white/red, white/green, and white/navy, but no white/white.

Supposedly you can customize a Stan to all white on miadidas but I've yet to see a finished product from this
