My apologies to the American Tourister luggage company who made the roid-raging gorilla commercials. Sampsonite sucks: Gorillas rule! Carry on.

Reading the comments, it makes me kind of sad that almost no one can conceive of the possibility of a good being manufactured outside of China and for more than $1...

I could not find a piece of hard sided luggage made in the U.S. At any price point. Cost was an object, but even someone shopping cost no object will not be able to find one.

To the guy riding Tumi's nuts:

They MAY have been good at one point, but they are now just a made in China piece of crap.

My next piece of luggage will be a Rimowa or Titan.

I have never experienced a Tumi's before (Briggs & Riley, you know). Are they really that bad now?

I have two of these bags. One is for my gym clothes, and then I take that bag and stuff it into the second one so as not to scratch the first one when Im out and about.
