2 Alden Cigar Shell Boots- 7.5D Plain Toe Modified and 8.5D Captoe Grant Last

1) ALDEN CIGAR SHELL PLAIN TOE BOOT, 7.5D, MODIFIED LAST: SOLD!

Purchased recently here on SF from z8k1n. I just wanted these too bad, and tried for 2-3 wears to convince myself I could pull off 7.5D. I can't. They're lovely, unlined, and already developing a great patina. The photos do more to show you where they're beat up, but I haven't touched them with any product or even a chamois, so much of that is easily done away with. They will be in need of a new heel counter though. The overhead photo places one of these boots next to the 8.5D captoes (below) for comparison.

I wish I could keep these. If anyone wants to trade for an 8D in the modified last, that would be my first choice. Otherwise, selling for $800 shipped CONUS OBO, which is what I bought them for.

2) ALDEN SHELL CIGAR CAP TOE BOOTS, 8.5D, GRANT LAST: SOLD!

These are the Alden D.C. makeup with commando soles, speed hooks, antique edges. Also purchased recently from an SF member, brand new when I bought them. I tried them on, barely laced them up, stood and walked around on carpet for about 10 minutes. The vamp is essentially uncreased, the tongue is pristine, and there are really no visible signs of wear. See soles. Shell is pretty much a perfect cigar on these. The photos were taken indoors, and I tried to capture them with a flash, but they are not the best photos. Can send more if interested. $900 shipped CONUS OBO.
