Grad student looking to buy a suit, need some suggestions

Hi everyone, as stated, I'm in the market for a suit (or two) for interviews/internship. I'm pretty new to the subject so I was hoping for some pointers. The fit is probably the most important aspect to me. I was a college athlete, so I have an athletic build with a 44" chest, wide shoulders and...

We have a MC denim 101 thread, so how about a "sport coat to pair with denim" thread

Given the great number of circumstances in which it is now acceptable to pair a sport coat with jeans, I think it's time to stop pretending that the well-dressed will refrain from this. I need to step it up.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some assistance. Ive been scouring the forums anonymously to take down some tips as I've been out of the game for a bit. I've also caught up on GQ as it seems like a savvy magazine in mens fashion. I just got out of a long relationship that extended back into...

    Buying First Suit - Help

I am looking to buy my first suit and would like to spend less than $500. So far I am considering SuitSupply Napoli fit ($469), J.Crew Ludlow fit (ebay around $400), and possibly a Hickey suit from Gilt. I want either a dark grey or navy and it must be a slim fit. Any more suggestions?
