M&S ties on sale for -50% off

I have no experience with them but they appear to be an old NY company that's been making ties since 1957

ties appear quite nice from the pictures

wool: here (for the Gianni Agnelli's)

cashmere: here

silk herringbone: here

alpaca/silk blend: here (some great colors)

many, many others here

if anyone owns their ties and can vouch for the quality, please chime in

Their repp ties they make for for Autism Speaks are very good quality-- at least, they were when they were sold as 7-folds for $50 more. I'd take a chance on the current crop.

got my ties in the mail today and wanted to say that they are very well made and the wool ones are not heavy at all - actually mid weight and easily able to be worn 9 mths of the year (and won't make a big knot)

the alpaca tie (on the far left) is a heavy tie and definitely winter weight

here's a picture of the ones I bought
