    Resume Help--- Changing Industries

Don't have much experience in these matters. but it sounds that what you want to convey would be better suited for a cover letter or through actually talking to someone. Of course, that is what always seems to be the catch: if only people would give me an interview I could prove to them....

Getting braces as an adult...Any experience on lingual orthadontics

No way will invisalign work. I haven't gone in for consultation yet, but my simple research shows that I need metal in my mouth for sure. My teeth are pretty bad. Think stereotypical display of nerds; and my bottom row of teeth has some crowding. I am somewhat overwhelmed by the amount of...

Getting braces as an adult...Any experience on lingual orthadontics

After lurking through this forum and wanting to improve my look and image, I realized that my jacked up teeth should be my priority given that I can wake up early and jog and eat healthier and lose weight and that I can be wiser on how pick my clothes and shoes, but my crowded, crooked teeth...

Just can't get myself to wear (soil/tarnish) the new Darltons..

This reminds me of when I was a kid with new Nike's. I wouldn't want to crease them so I walked like my knees couldn't bend.

Do you sweat more from one underpit than the other?

I hear this is normal. They sell prescription strength deodorant/antiperspirant now over the counter, so don't bother with any expensive things. They work well for me.

How did you decide a career?

Is it too late to get a vocational degree? Not being a jerk here, just that it sounds like this is what you want (this my day job, but I am really....). From what it sounds, like above posters said, you sound like you don't care much about effort. Don't expect to find a job right out of college...

Are jeans the excpetion to the rule? Navy blazer with pants?

Unless the jeans are made of wool or the blazer of denim, you'll be fine. See, I thought this too. This reaction is simple to get to, but in practice if the blue bottom of me looks like the blue bottom of my top, the material is irrelevant. I am going to learn to like my lighter wash jeans; I...

Are jeans the excpetion to the rule? Navy blazer with pants?

I understand the problem of wearing trousers that are to close in color to a jacket. But do jeans get an exception? I have seen pictures on here and elsewhere where a navy jacket paired with dark denim looks acceptable and possibly even stylish. But after having absorbed this forum's knowledge...

    blazer fit questions

If you get a Long, you are going to end up with a longer sport coat. Duh, you say? I think the length is fine, especially considering your slim physique.

Help critique my first ModernTailor shirt

I don't know how you look in off the rack shirts, but how different does this shirt look from those? It seems most guys on here get mtm shirts because they complain about all the excess fabric and they can't size down. Sorry but that shirt just looks like a shrunken shirt you got at Marshalls.

Is this worth anything? Raleigh Hickey Freeman. Vicuna?

Don't want to stop you from getting good selling advice, but please tell me you are not going to sell this for at most $350 then some time in the near future end up having to need an overcoat and buy some cheap thing for $299 on sale. If it fits you well, and you live in colder climate, why not...

Yay or Nay on these old florsheim "Royal Imperial" shoes (confused)

Yea, the pictures are all screwed up, they show up all over the place on my browser, have to scroll like crazy. The creases seem to be the only defects. That's not really a turn off for me. I am curious about that golden Royal Imperial label. I searched on here and can't find anything about...

Yay or Nay on these old florsheim "Royal Imperial" shoes (confused)

So, I have been doing some research on here and I think I figured out that some Florsheim shoes are quality shoes while others are not. I think royal imperials are the line that is good, but then I find conflicting evidence that say some are just remakes of the royal imperials. Would it be...

Ultimate noob thread - recommend me X in my wardrobe - post questions here please.

I read on here that Levi's 514 are cut just like 501's except slimmer. How accurate is this? And what is the "color" or style number design/color of regular, original 501 jeans? I haven't given much of a look, but the last department store I went to look for 514's had a bunch of faded, ugly faux...

    Men in Belted Sweaters

The collar points on those shirts are loooong. Wonder how that would like on some of the WAYWRN posters.
