Expensive ties- how can people tell?
yes and its not just the length. its the width of the blade at a certain point in the tie. the spot where the two ends of the tie are joined in the middle should ideally by on your spine but i always have to pul it south, and the fabric making the knot ends up being too narrow as well- glimmerskin

check out duckie brown florsheim. Go navy or something toned down. I'm quite tall so I find it difficult to make the proper knot at the right spot on the tie so it comes off properly and still have the length be correct on both ends. its agitating at times because I improvise my knots based on the sort of collar I'm wearing and the tie's make. Which shoes to wear with brown suit?
I believe Reagan wore black shoes with his brown suits. It looks much better than you might imagine. especially if you have a pair of nice black gloves and maybe a hat. please don't wear a black belt though. I'd just go with suspenders or a cinch- glimmerskin
