I have an uncle who is into denim, and he made a stand/sidetable thing out of an old pair. He stuffed the jeans with newspaper, coated 'em with some type of decoupage-type stuff so they would stand freely, and then, after they dried, fitted a board inside the waistband. Question for all the denim heads: I'm looking for a pair of raw, straight-legs with non-constrast stitching. Any ideas? Narrow waist, large thighs: what are my options for trousers?
I feel your pain. I've spent a lot of time and money buying size 34 (or 36) trousers and having my tailor take in the waist. Now I'm slowly replacing all of 'em with MTM, and the results are much better. Perhaps you could try internet MTM, if local options are too spendy?- drop
