    Hi, anyone has experience with wool denim from Holland&Sherry? They seem to carry 100% wool, 3/1 twill at weight of 345g. I'm considering ordering a length for trousers, but possibly someone can recommend or warn against :)

    Brembana blue stiped oxford - it's absolutely great, a pleasure to wear. Warzone oxford - thick and a bit stiff compared to above, but I still like it a lot.

    Waived MTO fee was in place recently, I'd be surprised if there was another. One can only hope :) Maiden voyage of my pair. Artista finishing, hatch grain leather all around, natural inside. Van Gogh in F, city sole. Loose lacing, hence big gap - after few wears it's significantly smaller.

    I'll probably pick a pair or two. Wondering if it's worth to bump to Artista-level finishing if I'm after hatchgrain leather and city soles? I'd definitely do so when ordering smooth uppers and leather sole. Any thoughts?

    Ok, but VAT was already taken care of by Luxire or will it be taken care of by shipping company later? My last order from .com was hit with VAT charges handled by shipping company, but they took no service fee I believe - only VAT amount. Don't remember which one that was - DHL, Fedex or UPS...

    On the new .de site, there's still the "+Vat and import levies billed by carrier" note. Is that left from website preparation and prices on .de site already include VAT? There should be no import duties when sending from Germany to other EU countries.

    I have shirt in above blue striped oxford and I like it very much. Quite easy to iron, wrinkles reasonably, soft and pleasant to wear. Can recommend!

    Did you get woven labels of fabric producer, either just loose in the package or already stitched? More specifically - DJA or Giza45 labels. Side note: I kinda laughed at wearing Giza45 face mask. I mean, it's a nice gesture from Apposta, I appreciate it, but the whole concept of wearing Giza45...

    Did anyone order modified collar? I'm after a pin collar, with "pointed", not round. Basically that would be Apposta's tab collar, but with metal pin instead of fabric tab. Not sure if they'll agree to try it or not, but knowing their past attitude towards collar changes might be helpful.

    They used to glue it and could do partial stitch in toe cap area, possibly on request - don't remember. Apparently handsewing Dainite is not easily doable. This is info from couple years ago, so things might have changed.
