Allen Edmonds Appreciation Thread 2016 - News, Pictures, Sizing, Accessories, Clothing, etc
Been having lots of issue with blemishes and defects with AE. I went through quite a few orders trying to nail-down the fit and there were noticeable issues with all of them. Got a pair of Strands after I found my size and there are multiple issues with them, but they aren't glaringly obvious so...- zachn

Got fitted at Allen Edmonds store, but still not sure about size
So, I have now been through 8 different sizes, lengths and widths and am now down to special orders as my last resort. I cannot find any AEs that fit. The main issue seems to be that AE shoes are too long. For example, I tried a 13E in the Carlyle, the toes felt comfortable but there is just too...- zachn

Got fitted at Allen Edmonds store, but still not sure about size
Yeah, I went in and asked to be fitted to the Park Avenue last and the Carlyle last. Person came out with Park Avenue and said, "the size is the same in all it just has a different look to it - you'll be the same size in every shoe." I will likely have to have them order multiple sizes to do...- zachn

I plan on buying AE shoes. I wanted to get my size so I could order while the factory seconds sale was going on. I was going to make my orders online.
