Saint Laurent Paris - Official Thread.

From what i’ve read this move seems entirely focused on revamping the Céline brand (they are the smallest of lvmh), making in more global (robust ecommerce and addition of menswear). Obviously they hired Hedi to completely shake things up as he did at YSL, nothing is off the table as they’ve...

@SirGrotius I’m currently in Seattle, so very similar to the weather in London :) Mine is the FW15 version, so not sure about the recent adverts...

@Isolar @kieran84 thanks, gents. I love the SLP version and the AMI looks nice as well. Style-wise it's quite versatile compared to an L17, for example. @kieran84 I know you don't post a lot of pics but I'd love to see how you style that bomber and just see how that bomber fits if you wouldn't...

I’d say TTS. I’m frequently in between a 46-48 in slp coats, so depending on style/model I take one or the other. On this one I went with 48 b/c it’s a heavier winter leather that I can see wanting to layer underneath w/ a sweater, etc. Also, style-wise, it looks great zipped up (unlike, say, an...

One thing that jumps out to me when comparing the two via the pics is that the AMI one looks a bit more cropped but the details, like the pockets, are larger. So, overall, the proportions look different.... Also, could be wrong but the SLP leather looks stiffer/thicker.

@Isolar sorry this took so long...one call out, the SLP version has thick calf leather, approaching the thickness of the FW13 heritage calf jacket. For some this is probably a plus, for others, maybe not.

Guys, FYI - if anyone's been looking I'm letting this go Sz 48. Hard to find in this size and condition...

@Isolar certainly, I'll take some closeups on the hanger and a few fit pics, will post in the next 24-48 hours. Looks great, man.

Anyone tried these in person? Either the silver or gold? Picked up the last pair on sale at barney's as I've been looking for a metallic jodhpur style, but I was curious if you guys have any opinions on these?

Ah, yeah - I work for one of those liberal west coast companies so I get to show up in pink boots and leopard-print cardigans if the mood strikes me ;)

@echau very nice! How do you keep them all so clean?? @ohyehhh I have too much, of course...but, for real, I haven't worn anything else but SLP since about spring of 2013. Not that that makes my obsession any better, but, I do wear it all day, every day. ******* Hedi. I, too, have been buying...

When you say burgundy, are you referring to the pair with the white detail? All the Santiags are from the ss15 collection, but those in particular were never produced - only worn on runway, they are made in Italy and are, as far as I can gather, rare as ****. Never seen another pair. They are...

Yeah, me too. They aren't embossed, they're real, but I remember them being a few hundred cheaper than what I expected but still $300-$500 more than the embossed. I could be off a bit, maybe they were more like $1600-$1800...

Can't quite remember but they were less than I expected for python - I think somewhere between $1300-$1500 USD.
