So on the black flavors its less of an apples:apples thing, since the black dress is struck all the way through with the black dye, that leather won’t really patina the same way a teacore black leather like the Horween cxl horse will. This is absolutely correct, White’s always lines the vamp whether you want them to or not, the lined/unlined choice that you make for a custom order is actually only relevant to the quarters, and even then on the “exotic” leathers (HH, shell, calf, etc.) White’s mandates lining the quarters as well.- ThatDudeOrion

I've recently taken delivery of my first pair of 55 last White's with the Vibram 2060 crepe sole, and I have to say it's pretty damn comfortable. I tend to prefer thinner soles to promote flexibility in the mid/forefoot, so some of my favorite offerings from White's are a single leather sole...- ThatDudeOrion

i think if you order black, brown, or burgundy horsehide it's Horween by default, if you order natural horsehide, they might offer both, or only Maryam, as I heard they ran out of Natty Horween Horse, or maybe neither if they've also run out of Maryam, i guess. but anyways, long story short...- ThatDudeOrion

As usual Kyle is correct about the shaft size. Particularly so if we're comparing Nomads to Mister Lous. Also, Wesco has the ability, for a sizeable upcharge, to adjust the shaft diameter on custom orders. These are unlined brown oil tan on top (i think…) , and brown cxl on the vamps. May not be exactly what you’re looking for but hopefully it helps.
