Hi Alan, What code do you have on the temple? L1724? Everything seems to be correct except for the 'Wayfarer' stamp where it should state Wayfarer II. In terms of the B&L on the top of the frame that is different from normal Wayfarer 2's. I have a pair of tortoise shell Wayfarer 2's that...- benn25

Any vintage 58mm aviator lens will fit into these. Not sure about Lux version but I guess if they have 58mm aviator they will fit too. Vintage replacement off ebay. Lux replacement anywhere you like. Look fake Im afraid. They are neither wayfarer or wayfarer II. The front hinge stud looks a bit too thick to be genuine. The actual hinge design was never used by Ray-Ban. The inner temple brace doesnt go right to the end. The stamp looks wrong too. The majority of Ray-Bans have the model name...- benn25

You do get Clubmaster's without the Ray-Ban logo. I have a few without the logo. Although B&L introduced the logo in the early 80s, Clubmaster's were released I believe in March 87'. Lenses unbranded are before the late 1970s. The others in 12:00 & 15:00 this is something im not sure about to be honest and im unsure whether this branding of the lenses has been dated yet. But I could be wrong. @oosterling OR @mmafia1 may be able to answer this query better.- benn25

Gold Overlay (GO) first. Gold filled can be dated back to the 1940s, 50s plus. Rolled Gold Plated (RGP) I believe is circa 1960s, however, im not 100% on that. Im sure someone will correct me on the RGP date. The frames are 5% pure gold, 2.5% copper for wear resistance to the gold finish...- benn25

All B&L Ray-Ban's have inscription on the brow bar. No exceptions. If its not there its not genuine. Unlike their lenses which might not have an inscription, all frames have points of identification for authenticity.- benn25

Hi F, The frame itself is genuine and original but the lenses are not. It will be difficult to find a genuine pair of lenses for that model if at all. Hope that helps. :)- benn25
