    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

I don't think it's fair for anyone to made such statement just from hearsay and without any evidence to substantiate it. If want to criticize on their fitting/style, at least show some pictures on what you mean instead of just giving a blanket statement.

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Prologue HK (in particular Jerry) flew over to Malaysia for the Kuala Lumpur trunkshow, bringing all the fitting garments ordered back in October. Some of the pictures from the fitting sessions: With more challenging body shapes: The overall aesthetics (i.e. wide lapel...

As mine is via a trunkshow, my ordering process might be slightly different. Jerry flew over to KL with few books that's suitable to our tropical weather (Dugdale NFW, Fresco, H&S cool breeze, Loro Piana Traveller etc.) and all I need to do is choose the cloth that I want and he takes my...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

I've just worked with Jerry from Prologue to held a trunkshow in Malaysia for the past weekend. I personally ordered a suit and a sports jacket with them. Looking forward to the next fitting session. Are you based in HK? If so, maybe just drop by their shop to try on their fitting suit, see how...

Should be starting from HKD7/8k. They only have MTM if I'm not mistaken. Are you planning to do one with them?

That's some nice details on the pants. How's the buttonhole holding up?

Fresco III is much smoother. You can order samples from them to try out. They won't irritate your skin if that's what you worried.

Maybe can check if Prologue will do the non-keyhole shape buttonholes? Either way I think it's a matter of personal taste and it is quite extreme to ask people to avoid them just because of that. No tailors, bespoke or MTM going to be perfect in everything, especially at that price point.

Oh, I thought belt is not needed for that pants. No side tabs?

Just curious, what is the purpose of the single belt loop beside the buttons? The fabric is quite see through though. Not my cup of tea. But I like the loafers. Can give me the details on the loafers? Assuming it's you in the picture.

So the Milanese buttonhole made by Prologue is more for decoration purpose and not so functional? The shape of the lapel buttonhole can come with different shapes. Is there a right and wrong answer for that?

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Are you planning to use them anytime soon? If yes, maybe you can bring this up with them. I think they should have their reasons for doing that. Anyway, do you think their cut is suitable for all body sizes/shapes?

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Maybe we need to look at the full body picture. Maybe if they increase the length of the jacket, it might throw off the balance of the suit. Either way, I think we can let them know what kind of length we want even if it's MTM? Agree on the product photos. We need more people to try them out...

    The Hong Kong Tailors Thread

Maybe not in term of fit as one should assume bespoke to fits better than MTM. But more towards the details and finishing.

It is MTM, so I assume that would be a no.

Is that a small tear on your button cuff? Other than that, it looks good to me. Maybe other forum member can chime in. Yea, their house style is certainly more italian. That's a nice tie you have there by the way.
