Incidentally, the market we're targeting will be a little more forgiving on measurement I think. Last year was the first time I bought a custom suit (at the convincing of my style-forward sister). We'll be like Indochino, but with a lot more educational materials to help guide newbies in the process. Well also have much more robust customization tools and some 3D visualization technology. Nothing that hasn't been done before. But no one has executed very well on it yet.- Douglas Hatch

The design on the labels attached to this thread is only for the woven labels that will be sewn into the suit. The insignia (anvil) wouldn't show up anywhere else. On the website, it will just say Suit Foundry.- Douglas Hatch

Thanks for the input! Just to be clear, I wasn't putting down A&S. I was simply pointing out the distinction between a brand like A&S, which has little meaning to a customer out of the gate, and a name like suit foundry, which connotes something immediately (good or bad). Hi all, Thanks for the feedback so far. We decided on the Suit Foundry brand name for several reasons: The word Foundry is masculine and goes along with the whole "custom construction" theme. I actually like that it connotes industrial imagery. It seems to me edgy and hip. It is memorable...- Douglas Hatch
