Couldnt stay away on such a nice day so went back to buy another £295er Burgundy Malvern E82. If you look very very carefully you will see a little black spot on the side. That is the 'defect'. Love you too Spoo- clbcs

sure, I install dark elbow and knee pads right after I buy jackets/shirts/trousers. They work both esthetically and like toe plates insofar as durability. You cant go wrong with this.- clbcs

I want to have a slightly darker tone in the toe box area. Currently the shoe color is completely uniform, which i find somewhat boring.in particular for a shoe with such a 'large continuous surface of leather'' as the Oundle. No more Incotex or Mabitex cheap ---> Daffy's going to liquidate
on incotex why is slowear so fastpriced? Every time I enter a slowear shop I can fill that the BS (B&S too) 'force' is strong hundreds of £/$s for chinos that are then sold for peanuts on B&S? Who are the real monkeys in this story? The ones in the shop or the ones on B&S- or maybe both- clbcs

C&J has been tremendously over hyped ( in particular in this forum) in the last ~ 3 years, associated with a huge expansion of sales outlets. There are now three C&J shops in a 200 m radius of Jermyn Street. That means that there are no bargains to be had. C&J first stopped selling...- clbcs

Come on now, there were very little handgrade seconds at £310. £310 was the price of most benchgrades during the summer sale That is actually why i never understood why people go for C&J handgrades- at nearly £500 RRP now- year round , when you can go to northampton -year round- and get EGs...- clbcs

yeah i know, shorties have all the love. I expect they benefit from the Japanese good taste, which means that at small sizes you get more interesting shoes. At 10+ you get mostly conservative shoes for the western financial/ professional type. I wish I had japanese feet- clbcs
