You really need to look into it a bit more than - "do I send the CV and get the visa or get the visa and then send the CV". I would pony up the cash and find an immigration lawyer, a decent one recommended by the government etc and go from there. Australian immigration rules will only tighten in...- km83

Have you ever owned a pair of APCs? They aren't high quality Japanese Denim that have been dyed really well. You cannot wash them early/often and expect high-contrast fades. Sure, you will continue to get whiskers post-wash, but they will not be stiff enough to hold real honeycombs. Also, mine...- km83

They're going to look like **** if you wash at 4 months, trust me. After you wash APC they go completely limp, which means they won't really get anymore distinct fades. Flat out bollocks, just keep washing and wearing them- km83

Is AMEX hurting financially/losing people?
AMEX doesn't make most of their money off of people carrying balances like other credit card companies. They make their money off of the vendors who accept AMEX. Their fees are much higher than MC or Visa, which is why some merchants don't accept AMEX. THIS! Heaps of business are not accepting...- km83

Apple Magic Mouse
Has Apple ever made a good mouse? Removing tactile feedback always makes interfaces worse. Wrong. The iPhone keyboard kills it. 10 x faster than any other phone when typing. Have used Magic mouse, it's fine - just takes some getting used to receiving your feedback visually rather than 'from touch'.- km83

Jazz for the Neophyte
I have no idea why people keep recommending A Love Supreme to jazz noobs. It's pretty inaccessible even to jazzheads. I would also not recommend Sketches in Spain to a jazz noob trying to get into jazz. It's great music, but there aren't to many solos on it and it's not really jazz jazz...- km83
