But then what would you call it? Whether it's actually a man's or a woman's coat It seems to me to give off a slightly military vibe. I agree it doesn't look quite like peacoat, the collar is way too small and the overlap in the front is nowhere near as big as on a peacoat. A Google...- tadgh78

Can anyone identify this coat?
Yeah, it has 2 rows of buttons so I guess that qualifies it as double breasted. However, I doesn't have the extra 3 square feet of material in the front that most double breasted peacoats would have. Hence it looks a lot neater when opened than a peacoat would look. I always think a peacoat left...- tadgh78
