Lonely Island - Jack Sparrow - Michael Bolton's suit pin/clip.

Anyone know what Michael Bolton is wearing in his breast pocket in the opening sequence (walking into the club) of Jack Sparrow, at 0:45, ()? Looks like some sort of clip, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. At first I thought it was an embroidered insignia, but if you...

Are you kidding? Other than a horse what accoutrements would go with these boots? Any nice gray trousers or good denim, no? (Not tucked in!...so 85% hidden) Maybe the toe is too high... I just like tall boots and I have yet to find a pair of tall boots that are elegant and don't belong in...

New bespoke boots leather problem. Flaking! Help!

Took them back today. He was shocked and was more than happy to strip them down and re-finish them...or re-make them if I'm not happy with the finish.

New bespoke boots leather problem. Flaking! Help!

Just called up, and he said that I should "definitely bring them in" as soon as I can so he can take a look at them. He said that maybe he could strip them down and start the finish from scratch or antique them (which might be nice). So maybe this was just a bad skin, because he sounded...

How are they covered by your insurance? No deductible? Smart enough to earn enough to afford $1700 shoes. But not smart enough to think you need to take these shoes back? Smart enough to know when I need to find out some more information...which is what I've done. Thanks.

New bespoke boots leather problem. Flaking! Help!

So I did a little experiment... On a very inconspicuous part of the tongue that gets covered up, I put a small piece of masking tape and then removed it immediately. The finish came right off with the tape! This can't be normal!

New bespoke boots leather problem. Flaking! Help!

what concerns me is that these boots dont look anywhere bespoke, especially the sole edge hints of a cheaper made sole and the leather and polishing job as well. Sorry...could you elaborate on that? I did ask for a natural-tone welt, if that's what you mean. There are a total of 5 layers of...

New bespoke boots leather problem. Flaking! Help!

So should I have him fix them by removing the coating and dyeing them, or should I just get him to re-make them with different leather? They're actually VERY comforatable, and they seem well made. Is it possible there was just a bad batch of leather?
