My suit jacket vs new blazer for wearing with jeans, nice non-matching pants, etc.
I'm having a dilemma. I have a suit I love in navy. I want a navy blazer. But I can't find a blazer that I like that fits and feels as nice as my suit jacket, AND one that's different enough (I want the blazer for professional attire, so goofy/odd type jackets don't really work...) to justify...- teege

I guess one issue is that I'm looking for a non-suit jacket that is formal enough to be okay in recruitment type settings. I don't really view an (very)odd jacket appropriate in this setting...would you say to nix the blazer altogether then? So, I'm trying to dress up a business casual...- teege

Your interviewer should forget what you were wearing except that you were dressed appropriately. Following that guideline, I'd say no mostly because of the odd buttons. How about the color of the shirt itself?- teege

Alright, what do you guys think about this plan: Since the tailoring hasn't actually been completed yet (I assume since I pick up the suit on Thursday) I think I may be able to cancel that and return it. What is the best step after that? Where is the best place to buy a suit at a decent price...- teege
