They don't have particularly special leather soles. Just get it replaced + add a Topy and go forth.

Same as your regular Guidi size. The PL last (do Guidi lasts have names?) fits the same, just a bit roomier. FWIW as a 41.5 I've had success in 42 across the board except the 27E (slipper) which I went with a 43 + insole. I've also worn 43 boots with an insole but I prefer the 42s.

Given how CDiem has been posting on IG about their FW20 stuff as of October, I'd say they're still alive.

There was a bit of a discussion in a since-deleted post on the Layer-0 account. However, given the website having been down for weeks, shortly after their fire sales posts, it seems they're on indefinite hiatus, at the very least.

Technically all shoes have an insole, just not a removable one. You don't need to add an insole to anything if you don't want/need to. This is normal for most shoes that aren't sneakers.

The Protological Archetype shirt is probably my favorite of yours this season. You tell us a lot here but make sure to tell the viewers on your webstore too!

Think you can sort of hack it by having a tailor add a sort of v-cut into the back (like the classical menswear stuff) and add some elastic or another fabric to the back to essentially expand it if the waist is your only issue?

My first was some season's samurai belt. I think I got it off an auction around 2014? It was burgundy but I dyed the front part black. Since then I've bought and sold way too many Devoa pieces. Shoes are still a damn mystery and the sizing changed a few seasons ago which makes life so fun...

The Stone Island jacket (which also had the cool thermo stuff on it) felt very papery and kind of wrinkly which is the only reason I speculate the paper dart stuff might be dyneema leather.

I'm referring to vellum, in general.

Yeah, I'm just guessing based on the appearance. Until someone handles both, who knows. Translucent leather's been done for awhile too--both by Sruli and just in general with bookmaking.

Yep, Skeen's got it. Sruli developed it but iirc it's kind of no longer produced because of the high overhead and labor/cost making it pretty impossible for anyone but really large brands to get access to it.

Blah! A boy can dream, OK?! And yeah, that's what the Dyneema leather felt like, to me. Sort of thin, sort of dry and papery, really strong. Pretty much the properties of Dyneema but with a sort of paper-leather feel on top. I haven't handled the paper dart stuff but the description and look...

In before we find out he just bought out the entirety of the Ecco Dyneema leather stock.
