I took a box with front row seats just 3 over from center on the third story which was more expensive than anything on the floor and the boxes on the sides. I'm guessing that center box is the only thing more expensive...(and that wasn't an option)- justonemore

Thank you sir. I didn't see anything as to black tie when purchasing the tickets. From what I've seen online opening night had a VIP crowd and I wasn't sure if did things up for closing night as well.- justonemore

I have plans to attend the closing night of La Traviata at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma on June 30th. Would a DB be considered as too informal given its past history as a "lounge suit"? Just wipe them down with a moist cloth and brush the living sh*t out of them with a stiff horsehair brush for goodness sakes....brush until your arms are tired, go out for a smoke and a drink, and come back and brush them until you can't brush them any more...Do that for a week and you should be...- justonemore

That's funny...because I'm buying high end shoes such as EG and G&G because of "the luxury and elegance and finesse of leather"...but you're right...it will never be the determining factor in my purchase...No matter how stunning I find a shoe, I will most likely never pay out $1'500 for an off...- justonemore

So keeping in mind that I'm a last pair buyer you would suggest ordering them with a full rubber sole? Could you explain the mechanics of that because I'd like to convince future sellers that such is possible.... Now realistically. Why would someone buy a $30'000 Harley and then add a 3rd party air horn ("fix") to the bike? Safety perhaps? I know you're coming in to the conversation a bit late...but I'll state it again...I live in a rather hilly country where rain and snow are not uncommon...so my choice according to you...- justonemore
